I was tasked to create complex icons that visually explored topics in the theme of nature. I was challenged to have multiple intricate shapes conformed within the confines of a geometric cartouche and no use of type. The topics explored were centered around the process of green burial and the monarch lifecycle. For the illustrations I chose to go in a direction that expressed the process of growth and variance in transformations of life particular to the end and beginning. The final work and creative processes were featured in an exhibition at the UAB Solar House.
